Qs Sharon Roark Friendly personality and pep were but two qualities that aided Sharon and made her a successful president of the Girls' League 1' 11' Wayne Anderson An all around athlete who, by his popularity, became student body president. He developed a well-rounded personalitywhich made him everyone's friend . Marilyn Brooke With a cheerful smile and a hello for all, Marilyn put her pleasing personality to best advantage as editor of this year's Owaches . This versatile student was ready to do any task when called upon. Velma Montgomery With a friendly personality and unfailing energy, Velma became vice-president ofthe studentbody and participated in any student activities. Tom Conklin He combined a sense of humor with his ab- ility as class leader through his school years. Distinguished in athletics, he wore the coveted O for four years. Left to rrght. The iaunty Juniors sponsored the after game dances, successfully ran the city for one day, and presented the annual Jr. Class play in the early spring. The Juniors played host to the graduating class and honored the seniors with the Jr . Sr . Prom . We have followed the road of acheivement through three years. February il-l2 found them participating in the an- nual Snake River Valley Music Clinic in Nyssa. Later in the year, the general public heard the band perform in their annual spring concert and in May they took part in the Apple Blossom Festival held in Payette. Mayalso saw the band participating in Ontario Music Week functions. The band, under the capable direction of Mr. Harris, played a variety of types of music. Another social event was the Band Dance held in the spring. Enthusiastic student body members agreed that it was the best ever. Energetic officers elected at the first of the year were Fred Bell, president: Jim Ennor, vice president: and Joy Jenson, secretary-treasurer.
