We've had algood time throughout these years, In study and play, wefve been up to our ears. We've frightened some, and made happy others, And have taken good and bad marks to our mothers. You folks, know that we have some talent, because we've heard you were thrilled Over our work in a play called 'The Daffy Dills.n We started a school paper, and all of you have see The good times we had at our dance on Halloween. We've all taken part in school affairs, And welve learned quite abit, and have enjoyed our cares. To our underclassmate friends, we would like to make it clear, That we appreciate all theylve done for us here. Oh, you havenlt forgotten our hero and classmate, I hope? 'f.3a'i321 Efgxgifi 5,1143-a Here it is o .s. ome of my - e-ns ar- omi'g ne, for I am now owner and manager of the Pratt's white leghorn, fruit, and diary farm. I am teaching Eng- lish, as a side line, but have come to believe that I have too many nirons in the f1re.' Which one shall I give up? Speaking of giving up things, I heard yester- day, that my old pal Adolf Ruiz gave up a 10,000 dollar contract, which would have given him a chance to show his speed in the midget races. I was surprised to hear that Adolf gave up this position in order to drive the hearse for 'T. S. Stiff and Co.W After hearing about Adolf I wondered what had happened to my other old school friends. Then I heard news that first shocked me. 'Pat' Schrieber, or should I say F. W. Schrieber, has become a millionaire. He was one of these fellows who started out selling French perfume in Malone, and now has a half interest in the Hotel New Yorker, and buys and sells cosmetics all over the world. Guess whose picture is on every one of Pat's perfume bottles. That's right, our own Mary Peer has accepted a position as a model for the advertising of F. W. 's cosmetics. Mary's picture has traveled from London to China Town, and F. W. 's perfume bus- iness is really flourishing. On my journeys around town I ran into Onnolee QMopeyD Delass. She and Mary Loquasto have started in the florist business, and are selling white orchids and cowslips. Their business was at its best, and while I was talking to her, she told me that Rosanna Quick and Betty Tilly had started out for Alaska on horse- back. We wondered if there was another gold rush or if the attraction was the 'midnight sunn. Thinking on the subject of happy and successful people thrown in together, reminds me of another friend of mine, NArt' Wallace. After gaining honors at Cornell, Art went into the poultry business. He hatches, and sells his chickens all over the country. Last summer I bought some of the chicks from his R. O. P. 20 flock, and can truthfully say that he gives them the best of care, and has one of the nicest looking flocks I've seen, outside of my own of course. Art's pal, and another classmate of mine, 'Donn Johnson was seen at the World's Fair at Joboa. He was exhibiting some of his pure bred Jersey cows. You've probably all heard that Don is manager of the United States' largest milk and butter factory. Oh, it almost slipped my mind! Three years ago my neighbor Thelma Harris married the up and coming Charles Russell. The bride looked beautiful in a long, flowing, green gown, and at her request the song, 'Oh Show Me The Way to Go Home' was sung by Eugene Hospers. Eugene also acted as godfather at the christening of the Russell twins this past year. At the wedding I saw my old friend nJoN Catalano. Josephine is happily married now, and at the wedding seemed to have a hard time keeping little Junior quiet. She hasn't changed, however, and still has that wonderful smile and those soft brown eyes. Last month I went to see the Broadway play 'MacbethN, and who played Macbeth but my old friend, nBob' CButchJ Mitchell. when I went to see him back stage, Butch said very humbly that this was his fifth year on the stage, and he had already received a movie contract, and of course he had been on television several times. After we had talked awhile, I asked Bob who had played Lady Macbeth---her face seemed very familiar. Bob told me that Rose Gabriel had been fortunate in getting that part, and that her name was now Win lighten as well as his. This was indeed wonderful---my old school friends Rose and Bob, now a famous Broadway actress and actor respectively. Dick Terry is another fellow who has surprised us all. Dick is now Governor of New York State, and his wife, a Webster belle, is hoping to become a president's wife soon. Dick seems to be following in his grandfather's footsteps as far as politics are concerned. Dick's pal Duane Albright who is Ontario's champion Joker, has now become Rochester's most famous doctor. He was inspired to this profession by his Wgaln who is a retired nurse at the Genessee Hospital. Duane's confident and faithful secretary is Faith LeVecchi. Faith knows all the medical terms that are to be known and realizes how important Latin was in school. Lois McCarty now is a hairdresser in Hoko. Some of the girls went to have their hair done by Lois's nimble fingers. She has originated many new hair styles for men as well as for women. People are flocking to her salon in order to be up to date as far as a coiffure is concerned. 21 Ken Blind now out of the air corps, has just become owner of a gas station here in Ontario. Ken is and always has been an honest sort of a fellow, and now his motto is NBlind fills it while you see.N Kenny enjoys this business, because he can always show off his chivalry when certain Ublondesn come driving in. Do you remember how good nBevN Bassage was in athletics and cheerleading? Well, Beverly has a Job as the main woman acrobat in one of U.S.A.'s famous circuses Yes, she too is climbing up to the stars, but I hope she won't slip. This reminds me of another Beverly. While at New York, I went to the opera, WCarmen', and who had the leading part but Beverly Given. Her voice has certainly gotten her places, and is just as good as ever. As the audience was filing out of the theater, I caught a glance of another one of my school friends, Jo Ann Zimmer. Later I came in contact with her, and Jo Ann told me that she had given up a promising business career in order to marry her childhood sweetheart. Jo Ann and her husband, as you know, have red hair, and incidentally so have their five little boys. Angelo Campisi, after finishing law school, began practicing law in the little town of Simsonville. Angelo has proven to be a good lawyer, because he has saved his wife, a bleached blond stage actress, from the electric chair and also his little girl, Tootsie, from Sudden Death, New York. This ends this report on the members of the class of 'H9, and each one of us is looking forward to greater achievements and conquests. You can see very well that this class is the most famous class wandering on God's green earth. .ow 1 X I r ff N o f P fr ff! XX , .. 1 fl ,ST ' I .dF' 22 Q 3' , I E464 of W 7 ly F9 K .
