QM 'I Y l CLASS PROPHECY OF 1940 'B U We - he S? 0 Last Ssturdsy morning, Icioy 5, 1950 it was necessary for me to leeve ng home in Onsted to make s trip to Hollywood. I arranged the evening before that my capable assistants Beulch Babcock and Ruby Werner sholld take charge of my beauty solon while I was goue. I left on due first train, taking with me a letter from a elsssnnte, which to my surprise contained clippings from news- papers. I learned that Kathryn Rey- nolds is teaching dancing in Paris. Alvin Kimball is doing a thriving under- taking business in Chicago, because of the small pox epidemic. Len Vallsd is quite as busy as Alvin as he is s doctor at the some place. Evelyn Pickford was proclaimed tennis champion at the 5Olym- pic games this year. Arriving in Hollywood I checked im- mediately at the famous Glsmous Hotel, book by Jane Dowling. The next morning I took s Werner cab to the Wilkins and Ross Studios, there I found Paul Holland directing a movie. It took the whole morning to settle my business there. Since I intended to shop that after noon I stepped into e lsrge restaurant. From the menu cerd I learned that Doris Large was the proprietor. After lunch- eon I went to the Kahle depertment store to purchase a cost. On the way back to the Hotel I met Helen Yenor. She told me whst she knew of our old Classmates 71.114 . .. up :-- Pfofa 4-If' :fx-.,. ' an ffm'-4 P1 . , psf-L'- ' K
