Working wiih ihem will be Pairicia Burgess, Bev- erly Thomas, Suzanne Morgan, Gordon Mieiz, and Roberl McCu+cheon. Our Junior prom is fo be held on June 9, from 8 fo I2 in fhe O.V.A. gym. Some of our oufsfanding Sophomores have been Marcia Frink, who accompanied Mrs. Dederer and fhe Senior Chorus in fhe 'Fall fermg Frankie Peroni, who is a sfar on Valley's Gym Team: Jack Underwood, ano+her greai player on Valley's Baske+ball Team: Ady Niesz, a boy who has been geHing righf in ihere in baskefballg and, lasf buf noi leas'I', Dick Jackson, who was awarded 'Phe honor of fhe mosl' improved Jay-vee in foofball. This year James Alexander, sevenfh grade, sold 'lhe mosi' subscriplions and received a Philco radio. The fwo runners-up were Philip Hudson and James Phillips. In assembly, af Thanksgiving lime, six of our members, Joan Maser, Pai' O'Connor, Be++y Cougler, Donald Wilde, Sheila Harper, and Dick Davenport presenfed a hilarious comedy, Thanksgiving by Chance . A Boy Scoul program on February 2I, a+ which Mr. Ernesf M. Blanchard, Scoul' Execulive, showed slides of Camp Woodland, was very inleresling. Philip Hudson was masler of ceremonies, Ronnie VanMar+er read from +he Bible, Lee Chamberlaine and William Adsih' lead fhe salufe fo fhe flag. James Alexander, Donald Amidon, Edmund Auffhammer, Dick Cowden, Jose h DeGroa+, James Greer, Dick Hill, Reginald Holmes, Pai' O'Connor, Jack Purcell, Dick, Seeber, Dale Travis, and Donald Wilde each sfafed one of ihe purposes of lhe Boy Seoul' work. Sally Kresser and Joan Boone, dressed in cowboy cosiumes, were winners in +he Allied You+h Taleni Show coniesl wilh fheir gui+ar and singing acl. A Sl'a'I'e Physical Educafion Teachers' Conveniion held in Syracuse January 26 wil- nessed a demonsfrafion of badminlon parlicipaled in by Margarel' Kile, Sandra Mabie, Felicia Milewski, Marilyn Pu+nam, Marilyn Roehm, Mary Alice Sexfon, Kay Songer, and Mary Lou Spagnola.
