The following members were inslalled: Barbara Beaver, James Bobbe'H', Donald Curlis, Marion Doiy, Barbara Gage, Wesley Gridley, Joan Grassman, Mark Hanlon, David Joor, Paul Maier, Gerald Oalman, Norman Palladino, Jack Parlrinson, Ann Slearns, and Gary Viele. On December 30, an enjoyable Chrislmas ar'ly was held af +he home of Mrs. Lohff. On March l I a dance was held in 'lhe Valiey gym. An lnsiallalion service was held on March 5, a+ 'lhe Onondaga Hol'el: Arlene Kelediian, Kennelh Wilbur, Nancy Normand, Barbara Merwin, Marlha Bedworlh, Malcolm Slone, Roy Shorii, Harry Ohlson, and Edward Murph were insialled. We were honored b 'l'he presence of Mrs. Marguerile Bradley, maihemalics leacher from Norfh High, and several members of Pi Mu Epsilon of Syracuse Universiiy. This year lhe Ma'l'hema+ic Conl'es+ will be exlended 'lo all counly schools wilh SI25 in prizes awarded. Valley enfered in if' ' 71 lhe conlesf fwo dresses belonging 'lo fhe seniors, Arlene Rainone and Gre'Ha Gulland. The spring ferm slaried wiih 'l'he pledging of Marilyn Wildrige, Be++y Bungay, Shirley Sherman, Marjorie Cameron, Elizabelh Ri+chie, Pal' Bowen, and Shirley Wallace. On March 4, Tri-Y held ifs annual Record Romp , which proved fo be very successful, bofh socially and financially. - We had our usual food sales and paiama parfies. We closed a very successful year wi+h our annual oufing in June.

The insirumenfal lessons are given free 'ro pupils wifh ialenl who are willing 'lo co-opera+e wifh +he aciivifies of lhe Band and Orchesfra. The Band plays for foofball games and ac+ivi+ies in +he Valley dislricf. 'si F 'if There are 'twelve MajoreHes and Two Flag Twirlers. Each senior member will have charge of one of 'lhe foolball games nex+ year. As well as fwirling fhe balon each member has learned a 'lap dance roufine. The group of girls have been very co-operaiive and Valley should be proud of ifs Maior- eH'es and Flag Twirlers. DRAMATIC CLUB 62:1 NEW Dramafic Club has sfarfed in Valley fhis +erm wi+h 'lhe wonderful co-operafion of Mrs. Sirong ancl her assisfanfs, Nancy Sfevens, Kenne+h Wil- A Q.. 'f bur, Mary Jane Kife and Joan Richardson. The officers elecfed 'For +he 'lerm are Malcolm Sfone, Presidenh Charles La Pierre, Vice-President Sally Perrigo, Secre- raryg Jennie Karim, Treasurer: and Carol Sfreel, Corresponding Secrelary. The funds earned will be used lo purchase new supplies 'for +he drama+ic deparlmenr.
