The following girls were formally pledged ai' lhe Hofel Syracuse on Ocfober 28: Jean Simms, Dianne Russi, Ann Williams, Helen Riley, Chrisiine Yovonovich and Dolores Blume. During 'I'he Thanksgiving holiday +he annual conveniion was held in Rochesfer. Jeannine Beclcwilh and Riia Reed aciing as Business and Social Delegaies respeciively. Affer 'l'his K.E. held ifs annual Banque? in honor of 'lhe Fooiball Team December I6, I947. Following 'rhis was ihe Chrislmas Dinner Dance a+ 'lhe Persian Terrace. Ano+her rummage sale on December 23 also proved ilself a greal success. On Friday, February I3 was our Miss Valenfine Dance. Of lhe represenfalives from each school Miss No'r+ingham was elecfed Miss Valenline and presenied wilh a compacl' and roses. ln fhe spring lerm +he following girls were invi'l'ed 'ro a supper rush, Le Pe+i+ Diner: Joyce Hollenbeclc, Mary Borden, Virginia Melzler, Pai Horlh and Dolores Halliday. A successful year was compleled wilh an oufing.

The rushees were pledged as candidafes fhe fol- J: lowing week af fhe home of Brofher Cecile. New members were: Dick Longo, Wendell Slack, Jerry Slack, Lee Conway, Fred Duell, and Jim Campbell. The spring ferm opened wifh a rush parfy af Brofher Dwyer's. The following week fhe rushees were pledged as candidafes af Brofher Diefendorf's house. The new members were Jim Dugan, Dick Purcell, Bob Brown, Jerry Tasker and Bob Kefaily. Befa played a successful baskefball game wifh Senafe. Befa held ifs annual Sweefhearf Dance on May I4 which proved fo be a financial and social success.
