gclitofziaf OMMENCEMENT - This word'is taking the place of gradua- sigf: tion. Why? Because the students of today are awakening to the fact that when they are graduated from high school, they have not iust finished a iob, or completed a task, but they are now prepared to meet the challenge that a groping world helplessly extends. This challenge is one that is urgent, one that must be fulfilled, this challenge is for security. Our generation, we cannot avoid it, is the one that will bring or the one that will take away this precious possession. The theme for the Academy of 1946 is security, because we feel that we, the graduating class of '46, are destined to shape the future. - THE EDITORS
