N ancy Shahan Marion Flood Historian ,,,,,,.,,,,,,.,,,.,.,,,,,,,..,.,., Virginia Hall Regina Perry ALKYRIE, formerly Valley Tri-Y, started its fall term with the induction of the fi, 71 following girls: Jeanne Ballantyne, Barbara Ballantyne, Susan Roulstin, Regina Perry, Joyce Vanderwedge, Alice Hersca, Audry Spencer and Marie Knox. Our proiect this year was making scrap books for the veterans at Rhoads Hospital. We had a very successful Hollawe'en dance with Hi-Y and Sector 'l8. On December 20th we had a Christmas party at the home of Susan Roulstin. We exchanged gifts and everyone had a merry time. On November 24th we had a swimming party at the Y.W.C.A. We sang Christmas carols for the old people at Loretta Rest Home. The spring term brought about installation of officers, a bun'is rush, and a candle light service accepting into Valkyrie the following new members: Marion Beckwith, Beverly Coon, Sally Evans, Martha Doyle, Betsy Coin, Bernice Garlock, Mary Jane Bergreen, Mary Jane Doyle, Charlotte Ketcham, Nancy Wilson, Naomie Wilson, Aldreth Ouderkirk, Shirley Abbott and Donna Siring. ln closing the season we had an outing at Powlesland's camp at Tully Lake Park, in the latter part of June.
