The spring ierm opened wilh a rush al Brolher Clillls in February. The regular Hcandidafe hayridel' was held and final nighl was al Brolher Quackenbushs The new members Taken in were l-larlan Dielendorf and Dick Johns. Bela encounlered Senale in a hockey game and was deieared. Our spring sporls season opened wirh a lriumphanl viclory over Zela Chapler in baskefball, score 4I - I6, During rho Term a successful dance was held by The chapler. During The year Bela Chapfer losr Alan Galloway, Jack Milligan, and Dick Schalk lo The Navy. Qur loss was fheir gain, The iirsl year of Bela Chapler was a social as well as a financial success al Onondaga Valley Academy.

I On March 7, Tinal pledge was held aT l-loTel Syracuse Tor The Tollowing new girls: Sally BaTchelor, Joyce BenneTT, BeTTy Brown, Alma Conway, Joan GriTzner, Carol Gross, Jane lvlachlamara, Barbara OlmsTead, Jean Rommes, Muriel SeTon, Jeanne Smingler, and lvlary Van EselTine.
