On January llTh, The annual lvlolfher and DaughTers' bangueT was held aT TubberT's. The new oTTicers were insTalled and lvlrs. Charles STover, a Tormer K. E. member was guesT spealcer. A ioinT dance sponsored by Phi and DelTa chapTers was held aT The Syracuse l-loTel, January 28. This dance TeaTured Diclc Kowell's orchesTra. I On March 7, Tinal pledge was held aT l-loTel Syracuse Tor The Tollowing new girls: Sally BaTchelor, Joyce BenneTT, BeTTy Brown, Alma Conway, Joan GriTzner, Carol Gross, Jane lvlachlamara, Barbara OlmsTead, Jean Rommes, Muriel SeTon, Jeanne Smingler, and lvlary Van EselTine. On April l8. a beneTiT raTTle was held. The prize was a S25 war bond. An EasTer Dance was held April T4 aT Drumlins. Bela encounlered Senale in a hockey game and was deieared. Our spring sporls season opened wirh a lriumphanl viclory over Zela Chapler in baskefball, score 4I - I6, During rho Term a successful dance was held by The chapler.
