If is a member of fhe local, sfafe, and nafional l-li-Y. Our chapfer was one of fhe collaborafors for fhe l-li-Y dance fo raise funds for war relief. We had delegafes af fhe Sfafe Older Boy's Conference and af The Hi-Y Assembly in Albany. l-li-Y also sponsored fwo assemblies during fhe fall ferm. As anofher of our proiecfs we senf a few hundred fexf books fo needy sfudenfs in Kenfucky. The membership, comprised OT one boy and one girl represenTaTive Trom The sevenTh and eighTh grade homerooms, is TwenTy-Tour. Because oT conTlicTing schedules, The ninTh grade is noT in The Junior Council. ln The Two monThs iT has been organized The Junior Council has made many plans and done several Things. IT has been inTeresTed in The magazine drive and has sold 5309.50 worTh oT magazines wiTh The aid oT The ninTh grade. Some oT This money will be used Tor deTense sTamps To be sold in school To The sTudenTs. A creed has been developed and plans To elecT a Junior l-ligh School presidenT soon are being made.
