HISTORY In 1946 the lreshmen started thelr flrst year of hxgh school wlth fnfteen ln the class Mr Dole was our class advlsor that year, and t was under hns guxdance that we started hngh school, determxned to struvfle through to the last regents' esamxnatlon and graduatlon Not too much actxvlty comprlsed that year, and we went merrlly on xnto our sophomore year Here we made several new addntxons to the class namely, Shirley Case, J1m Reynolds Dxck Hoag and hnck Gualxllo Durnng our tenth year we began to be money conscxous, for already we were looklng forward to the trxp to New York whnch came IH our last year We operated a concessxon at the football games and presented a movne to the students and faculty Mrs Krnck was ou. class advlsor that year, and there were 18 members IH the class ln September 1948, one now famlllar face met our approval, that of Bob Uowxng Our largest progect ln our Junlor year was the Year Book of whxch we were very proud, for lt was generally felt that we had pre sented an excellent annual Mlss Ryan, our class advnsor, was of assist tue ball Dew Drop Peverle, and everyone worked hard on the paper flowers and plcket fence whlch, along wlth a crystal ball, were our decoratlons We staged a paper drlve to make money for the Prom The year was cllmaxed wlth a Junlor Sennor Plcnlc on June l at Green Lake State Park, where everyone had a marvelous tlme Our bxg year, of course, was our Senxor year Our flrst obgectxve was to obtann enough money to pay for our Sennor Trnp whlch we dld IH splte of the mock feud wnth the lunlors We ralsed the money by sellxng candy at basketball games, sellxng magazines, stagxng paper drlves and sellxng statxonery In the late fall we presented That Gnrl Anne , three act comedy whxch was enjoyed by all The class actnvxty was nn creased greatly from prevnous years, and our class advxsor, Mrs Mur phv, guxded us toward our ultxmate goal, graduation Our excntement held a touch of sadness, however, for xt was hard to leave a place that had been a part of our llves for many years . . .
