Led through tricky maneuvers by Edward Finney, drum major, they incorporated many new steps into standard tunes. High-kicking white bucks marked the beginning of She'll be Comin' 'Round the Mountain as the band imitated rigid German marching bands. In the formation of a Car, the band moved down the field during one half time to the melody ol My Merry Oldsmobile. Other songs which the band marched to were Hello, l.ibert5 Bell, and The Marine Hymn. Club members helped in the library in various ways. Their jobs included charging out books, putting books on the shelves, checking in new magazines, and getting back issues of magazines for students doing research work. On Valentine's Day the club held its annual tea for the faculty. To nuance their annual trip, the club members sold Christmas cards and magazine subscriptions early in the year.
