ONEIDA SCHOOL BUILDING High School Board of Education Grade School Board of Education Mrs. Gail Whitney Mr. Gail Whitney FACULTY AND STAFF Mrs. George Weyer AY George Fowler LD Russell Anderson Mrs. Hazel Powers David Milne —s Robert Allen Robert Allen was born November 8, 1939, in Oneida, Kansas, to his parents Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Allen. He attented all 8 years of grade school at Oneida, In the fall of 1953 he entered the Oneida Rural High School. He participated all four years in ath- letics, and earned four letters in basketball. Rex Allen | Rex Allen was born to Mr. and Mrs. James C. Allen of Oneida, Kansas on Oct. 11, 1939. He attended all eight years of grade school at Oneida. In the fall of 1953 he entered Oneida High where he finished high school. He has participated in sports and has earned four letter in basketball. Eldon Plattner Eldon Plattner was born March 13, 1940 on a farm north of Oneida, to his parents Mr. and Mrs. John Plattner. He lived all his life on the farm. He attended eight years of grade school at Eureka, Dist. 30, where he graduated and entered Oneida High School in the fall of 1953. He was Vice-President of his class his Sophomor e year, and President of his Senior Class. He specialized in Science, English, and Commerce. He participated in two years of athletics and earned two letters in bas- ketball. Ruth Gerber Ruth Gerber was born January 4, 1939, on a farm next to Bern, Kansas. Her mother's maiden name was Virginia Hollister and her father is Gilbert Gerber. The next year they moved to the Earnest Gerber ferm near Oneida. She attended District 99 for 6 years, then finished grade school at Oneida. In the fall of 1953 she entered Oneida High School, participated in athletics all four years and in four plays: Sun Bonnett Sue, Aaron Slick, Good Gracious Grandma, and Papa is All. She majored in Home Economics, English, History, and Science and has had 9 years of 4-H work. Norma Jean Boltz Norma Jean Boltz was born August 15, 1939 at Centralia, Kansas to Mr. and Mrse Raymond Boltz. She attended all but two years of her grade school at Oneida. In the fall of 1953 she entered Oneida Rural High School. She participated in ath- letics earning four letters. She was in all high school plays. She majored in Sci-= ence, History, English, and Home Economics Doris Campbell Doris Campbell, the Junior Class of Oneida High School, has combined class projects with the Senior Class.
