accompllshed I shall un lock our memory horde and reveal our treasures to you Four long years ago thrs clrss of 24 started out on the long Journey toward graduatron We admrt that when we trrst entered the doors of our Alma Nlater we were bashful green and afrard But we survrved the mrsyudgment and mlstreatrnent of the upper classmen and the teachers W hen the end of the frrst yerr came rn vrew we could see r farnt shadow of school lrfe Vle began to look toward hlgher goals and were anxrous for the days to come when we would enter those same doors as Sophornores When at last we returned we were Sophs rn deed We belrewed ourselves the best rn school and turned to the Fresh es tor revenge of our mrstreatment of the year before Our green ness bashfulness were gone and because we were full of orgrnlzed classes 'Near the close of our mc at the lake Though we made no publrc appearance as a class rn thrs yerr we were sure that the people ot the cornmunrty knew us lxow we shall turn to our results of whrch the losers were to enter tam the wrnners wrth 1 prcnrc at the lake Agarn we partrcrpated rn t splendrd prcnrc and so closed our Junlor year On Sept 1923 We assembled for the fourth and lrst yerr of our hrgh school clavs together We at last were drgnrfred Senrors the rdeal toward w hrch we had been armlng for three long years Nlany of our classmates had erther become drscourfrged or had found rt hard to frmsh the four year Journev w th us Never theless our enrollment numbers thlrty srx and we boast of belng the largest class to graduate from Onaway Hrgh One of the thlngs a student always looks for ward to rs a back seat rn the assembly room Of course they are sure of never attarnrng such r rhrng untrl then Scnror vear Thrs year our hopes w lshes and prryers were shrttered when Laudy after a very careful dsc-u n wrth the faculty forced upon us seats of te a drffer ent character He mourned and mourned but alas' the deed was done and we were the vrc tlms After thrs shock we collected ourselves organrzecl a Senror Clrss XX 1th two sponsors Nlrss Hrll rnd Nlr Young md Smrtty as our presrdent we faced a year rn whrch we were to attain success Soon a staff was elected for the purpose of edrtrng the annual Onaweea IWIHFIOII Shack son was elected edrtor rn chref rnd wrth the splendrd cooperatron of her helpers work on thls famous volume w rs started At our second clrss meetrng we decrded to send for some samples of class rrngs and from that trrne the chref toprc of every meetrng was rrngs VS hen at list a maJor1ty of the thrrty srx members clecrdecl on one rlng the money was collected rnel the order sent rn -Xt our December rneetrng a slergh ride was planned rncl shortlv atler Chrrstmas v'rcatlon e eventful el'1v crne T e Jrnglc be s called forth the entrre class to partrcrpate ln the wrnterv sport and we all enJoyecl four hours of fun arrcl merrrment Soon a COIllIllllfe9 w rs rpporntecl to select a Senror plrv The one deerclecl upon was The
