Tup Seventeen seniors and four sponsors left about six a.m. for Double JJ in Rothbury, Mich. We ate lunch at Holland, Mich. At about one-thirty we arrived at the ranch and later had our first horseback ride and went swimming. That set the pattern for most days and at night we had a hayride, went to the dunes, and a talent night. We left Friday after lunch and stopped at Don’s in Manteno for supper. The Jr. Girls painted “Let The Good Times Roll” and Welcome Class of 1980 signs across the school building. We all had a great time. Seniors seemed in a different world. Dear Iori, How are you? I decided to take a little break from my busy schedule to tell you about the class reunion on November 4. Ever since Steve and I opened Phillips Enterprise I’ve been on the go. He usually takes care of the I'nited States affairs and I take care of the international ones. We just put up a new office building in Home. Do you remember JANE MITCHELL? She was the real crazy girl who always gave Mrs. Dirks a hard time. Well. I needed an accountant and she applied. She is the best qualified accountant and very efficient. I had computers put into the new offices and you’ll never guevs who came to install and program them. Our old classmate JEFF THOMAS. He Is doing very well. On my way to Rome I rode on the biggest jet in the world owned and operated by BOBBY REED. He always said he was going into big machinerv. I hear you’re doing real well w ith your string of banks. Didn’t you just open a new one in Rome not too long ago? I was home a couple of weekends ago and the old town is really doing well. VNe have a new hospital there and CAROLINE WILKEN is the head nurse. She must by vers good because she has only been out of school for about three years. I got a chance to talk to her and she told me that DENISE ALLEN now own and operates the Nursing Home in Gilman. It Isn’t where it used to be though. She bought about forty acres and rebuilt it. It is one of the nicest homes in the state. I went to the garden center with Mom to pick out some bushes for in front of the house and I couldn't believe my eyes. It wasn’t owned by Borks anymore. BOB CL'LTRA bought out Borks and has joined it with all of his and has the biggest nursery in the world. He has a lot of branches all over the I’nited States. I was listening to a ball game on the radio the other day between the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Steeler and KEN NlcNEIL, better known as the Big Mac, was the sports broadcaster. He was talking about the new player the Dallas Cowbovs have. He took Roger Staubach’s place on the team. It Is none other than JOHNNY N1ACZ. He is doing so well that they named a candv bar after him. You’ve heard of the Cactus bar, haven’t you? The Big Mac interviewed Johnny and also the Cowboys new owner, TOM HENSON. Tom bought the Cowboys about three weeks ago. After the interviews the radio station played a song by a new recording group. The song was “Do You Think I’m Little,” by Tari and the Tillies. The lead singer Is none other than TARI LIDDLE, although she was always singing in school. I hear TOM HOL LINSWORTH opened a chain of stores called “Hollies Hobby Shop” and is doing real well. He has got at least fifteen and now Is readv to open number sixteen. Well, good luck w ith vour bank and I hope to see you at the class reunion. See you then and keep in touch. Friends always, Theresa Dear Theresa, Hi! It was nice to hear from you. I’ve been so busy setting up the bank in Rome. I’ve barely had enough time to spend with my family. I’m glad I’ll have a chance to rest and see everyone at our class reunion. Clad to hear everything’s going great with Phillips Enterprise. I read about a new office building going up, but I had no idea it was one of yours. Guess who I hired to do the landscaping for my bank? Our old school mate, JEFF KANOSKY, who now owns his own business. I hired MINDY KUNTZ to be my own personal secretary. Would you believe Mindy and DOUG P(X)L aren’t married yet? They’re still going steady. Doug and TERRY ROBINSON joined together and now instead of Pool and Sons, it’s Pool and Robinson's Garage. MARTHA GALVAN THOMAS Is still happily married to Mike and now has two healthy boys. She also runs an Adoption Center and is doing very well. I id you hear JIM BROSSEAl' bought Best Supermarket, now called Jimmy’s General Store, from the Wilsons? I also hear he just had his fourth child! LISA TII.STRA manages the store for Jim in Delrey, which is now a booming town. Remember all the trouble DEAN STEINER got into with the teachers? Would you believe he is now in the teaching field? Speaking of teaching, did you know ANN HOY is the first woman Superintendent of Onarga High School? The other day, I was checking on my bank in Nevada, when I ran into BOB JEAN, who Is very successful in farming his five-thousand acres. And he was telling me about the hig storm a few weeks ago. He said CHARLIE LEE was fixing the power lines, so they stopped to talk. Charlie is the head of the Nevada Power Company. Well, gotta go. Keep in touch!
