ADMINISTRATION I sincerely believe that this Senior class of 1976 is a fine group of young people. I hope that the promising future which seems to be yours will be realized and that each and every one of you lives up to his or her fullest potential. May you approach life with a good attitude and may success greet each and every one of you. Dennis Custis, Assistant Principal It is with mixed emotions that I have to say farewell to you because we started on this venturesome journey together; you as eager hopeful students and I, as an assis¬ tant administrator of the Onancock High School. You, I con¬ sider my class. Because of the excellent instruction of your teachers, we have watched you develop and mature into a group of fine individuals. As you depart from us, remember that you are a part of a great nation and it is your duty to become as highly educated as your capabilities will allow because education is now the supreme problem of all nations and if we are not educated our nation will slowly perish. You must develop a philosophy of life and inculcate the idea that life does not include only duties and sacrifices but also little things that are of paramount importance. We are more secure when we are kind, take care of obligations, share our bounty, have great integrity and always have a cheery smile. Education makes a person easy to lead, but difficult to drive, easy to govern, but impossible to enslave. I wish you all the success possible. James E. Bailey Assistant Principal 7

ONANCOCK HIGH You must, I am sure, be aware that the last four years have been very special ones in your life. It is here that you have left the record that will deter¬ mine what you can do and where you can go throughout the rest of your career. I sincerely hope that the years you have spent here have been happy years and that they have been filled with meaning and accomplishment. Now your life stretches before you and it is my sincere wish that it will be one filled with joy and happiness. Earl G. Hoppes, Principal
