1 1 Published by the Annual Staff Onancock High School Onancock, Virginia The years you have spent in school have passed swiftly. It has been a pleasure knowing each of you and may I wish for you a full and happy life. Earl G. Hoppes Principal ADMINISTRATION Good health and good luck to each and every one of you. May you set your aims high and achieve your goal in life. Lola Lewis Secretary i May happiness and success smile upon the class of ' 72 in all that you attempt to do. Richard Bull Assistant Principal Seniors, which methods of thinking are a part of your daily living? The three methods of thinking that charac¬ terize our lives are routine, rationalization and scientific. It has been written that routine thinking causes us to believe what we want to believe. Rationalized thinking causes us to find an excuse to believe what we want to believe and scientific thinking is first setting up an hy¬ pothesis, the examination of such hypothesis until we can draw conclusions. If such conclusions support our thesis then they may become a law. Because you have thought routinely and rationally about your frustrations, desires, limitations, environment and heredity you have denied yourself of a chance for the fulfillment of your greatest potentials. It would be wise to let the scientific methods of thinking guide you to the fullest realization of your potentials. John Parsons Assistant Principal 3 DEDICATION Mrs. Lotta S.
