Future Farmers of America The Onalaska Chapter of the Future Farmers of America began a very successful year by being selected as one of the States' top 18 Chapters. The Chapter rated a Bronze Em- blem and Superior Chapter award. In Farm Safety, the Chapter ranked among the top 13 receiving a bronze emblem. At the Southwest Washington Fair, our Chapter had the highest participation of any Chap- ter in our area in number of members entering. We had 35 members out of a membership of 45. Some of the more outstanding ribbons at the fair were Jim Odell - Jr. Champion Guernsey heifer, Gerald Guiberson - Sr. Champion Milking Shorthorn, and Mike Powell - Grand Champion Brown Swiss. In addition to these, many members received blue ribbons on Dairy Cattle, Beef Cattle, Eggs, Poultry, Bees, Honey, Horticulture, and Farm Shop Exhibits. This year, the Chapter membership consisted of 19 Greenhands, 34 Chapter Farmers and 1 American Farmer for a total of Initiation Team F. F. A. Officers Judging Team Parliamentary Team 37' ,, W' Valk
