Z5 P28 POLUZ5 I1 OHCLKQJ L61 This is a four act drama, with the graduating Seniors of '51 as the characters, the action taking place at Onalaska High School xxhich furnishes the stage properties, and lighting effects. Five of the original characters are: Tommy Burchett, Frank Javorsky, Harlan l,eydig, Gerald Gisler, and Elspeth Coutts, who ,were ar- ranged long before 1947, which is the time set for the opening curtain. ACT 1 Time: 1947-1948 Characters: 36 Freshmen Scene I: Election of officers. Bill Chappel was elected presidentg Gerald Gisler, vice-presidentg John Jacka, secretaryg Dick Rambo, class representative. Esther Turner was elected one ofthe three yell queens representing O. H. S, Scene ll: Freshman initiation. After this dreadful thing finally caught up with us we were on our way to becoming full fledged students. Scene 111: Freshmen return dance. For all the nice things the Soph- omores did for us, we showed our appreciation Q? ? ?l by giving them a return party, ACT ll Time: 1948-1949 Characters: 32 Sophomores As one step more was made toward our goal, we gathered our little clan together to elect officers anl plot against the Freshmen. Scene 1: Election of officers. Bill Willis was elected presidentg Le- Roy Badger, vice-presidentg Margaret Mallonee, secretaryg and Dick Rambo, class representative. Margaret Mallonee and Edna Jean Burchett represented our school as Song Queens, Scene II: Barkers elected. Esther Turner, Ethel Marie Ames, Maxine Shipp, Darlene Kempf, Mary Davis, Doris Madden, Noreen Miller, and Doris Bowen were chosen by the previous barkers to carry on their duties. Scene 111: Freshman initiation. We enjoyed initiating the Freshmen into O, H. S, A dance followed and all had fun. Scene IV: Freshmen return dance.
