WE SEE THE HORIZONg WHAT LIES BEYOND. The last three years have gone swiftly for the class of '55, We appreciate the work of our senior class officers, Camille Price, presidentg Lynn Cox, vice-presidentg Peggy Zabreznik, secretary, and Lyle Caudill, treasurer. Our sophomore year was highlighted by our sophomore hop. Under the very adequate leadership of our advisors Mr. Dibble, Miss Anderson, and Mr. Haney, we presented the prom Moonlight and Roses in our junior year. We also remember all the pop, popcorn, and hot dogs we sold at football and basketball games, to earn money for our prom. Our senior year found our fellow classmates Henry Helm, Louella Lamb, Camille Price and Sharon Jaquish as student body officers. We gave our Senior Ball in the fall with the theme, l-Iernando's Hideaway with Dennie Dunlap and Larry Douglas being chosen King and Queen. On May 25, to the strains of Pomp and Circumstance, we marched in to take our places to receive our diplomas - realizing the meaningof our motto: WE SEE THE l-lORIZONg WHAT LIES BEYOND. The various musical organizations have been kept busy this year entertaining at at P.T.A., Rotary, Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, and Elk meetings. The highlight of the year was the annual Christmas pageant with the theme, King of Glory, in which the chorus sang numbers from the Messiah. Other highlights were the winter and spring concerts. The project of the year was the purchasing of band uniforms. The Chamber of Commerce together with enthusiastic students presented a program consisting of the boys' glee, high school band, and junior band. Motion pictures of the 1954 stampede parades were also shown, The students of the Omak music department are indebted to the people of the com- munity for their support in this project. okkf if SSQSXWWDJ A A C N l it' 'fc Ia at I fm-leg, .'X Tkcfgi-P-EN .air f A FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA FIRST ROW: John Phistes, Kenneth Lane, John Emerson, Ronald Moore, Melvin Alumbaugh, Gordon Stalder, Don Burke, Ray Smith, Johnny Roberts, Gary Baker, Buzzy Berney, Larry Emerson, Larry Hamilton, Max Alumbaugh, Mr, Ed Dennery.
