Bishop Younger encouraged the Indians to build a schoolhouse which they event- ually did at their own expense. This school was soon too small to accommo- date the increasing number of pupils. In 1904 the school had two depart- ments one for the white children and one for the Indian children. St. Marys Mission is still in use today. There is now a larger chapel and new school buildings. wav 4 4 We mai-0 'uf WA X 1 X 4 U I ,sk V' is if Wi?
