Graduates of the June Class of 1960, you are enter- ing into a decade that'history may record as the greatest ten years of accomplishment and progress in our world's history. Each one of you with your many and varied talents will make your contribu- tion this period. Approximately one out of two of your age group reached the educational attainment of a high school diploma, There is an old maxim that the longer a boy or girl is kept in school the less likely it is that he or she will be unemployed. This is still true in our Atomic Age because education offers opportun- ity. My request to each one of the members of this class is to keep on leaming because additional edu- cation will insure you of a more rewarding future. Your Principal, Carl B. Palmquist
