Through debating, extemporaneous spealc- ing, oratory, and dramatic and humorous readings, students earned 25 points and a membership pin. Serving as otticers tor the year were president, John Gale: vice-president, Larry Berg: secretary, Sandra Vaselq and treasurer, Gordon Miles. Furthering interest tor third and tourth year Latin students and promoting closer unity among its members were the aims ot tho Junior Classical League, Seventeen members and their sponsor, Miss lfvadena Peterson, held a Roman Ban- guet, tollowing all Latin customs and tradi- tions. Cther activities were an initiation ceremony, a Christmas program at St. John's Episcopal church, and a picnic to elect otticers. Otticers were president, Steve Ball: vice- president, Sandra Vaselq and secretary- treasurer, Diana Birge.
