ly C0l'L!L6!8W,f SOPAOVVLOPQJ School was dismissed for three months dur ing the summer only to find you as sophomores when it convened in the fall You were confi dent and well acquainted with North now You made out your own programs and rushed from class to class to have them signed You sold tickets to dances and shows You struggled through biology labs and geometry theorems you loaned clubs which interested you and you cheered as North won the lntercity football championship North had become your home and you were proud of it 6, 1 001, A gage? .QQZUJAWLQVL The inevitable day soon came. You, as eager freshmen, anticipating four full years of fine times and hard work, approached the open doors of North with quaking hearts and a de- sire to do your best. You meekly transferred from class to class under the guidance of the teachers and upperclassmen. lt was a year of firsts your first football and basketball games your first BEST Show and Aurora your first North Star, your first locker trouble Your freshman year at North was one of lasting im pressions You gradually gained confidence in your school and began to enloy the many events which surrounded the everyday life of it You wanted to call it your own and be a part of it and its activities KW 42 ff swf? At long last, your days of dreaming were over-you were upperclassmenl Now it was your turn to sell elevator keys, to make good use of the wastepaper baskets, to use 220 Ii- brary, and to become the proud owner of a class ring. Your junior year was filled with many happy, exciting experiences. lt was dur- ing this year that you became officers in clubs and reo'ly fell into the swing of high school life However you suddenly realized that your days at North were slipping by at a terrific speed and you set to work to make the most of your remaining two years in the halls of North High mmm Ji Jimi 014 ll' ,JIQQPCKHJJIWLHVL OW -4-e.elr 6v-- Toward the end of the summer you were restless for seniority and you had it for again came another school year This was a special one though For some it was the last year for others the higher goal of college was in view You were now the upperclassmen who were looked up to the ones to set an example of high standards for the school Under the gui dance of a new principal and assistant prin cipal you saw the activities of your senior year unfold before your eyes Graduation looming so long in the distance was suddenly upon you The night of commencement was the culmina tion of your four years at North How can you remember these rich years at school?
