.fdf Word My .SZAOOK The plan of the building symbolizes Excel- lence , a term which is echoed in every phase of North High School activity. Through the years, North has steadily en- larged and improved its facilities to benefit its growing enrollment. Plans for the future include fluorescent lights and a new paint job for every room. North will also boast a new and larger art room, greatly improved ROTC facilities, a new homemaking room, a new music room, a uni- form-drying enclosure in the boys' locker room, and another gymnasium. Other ideas include a parking lot on the south side of the building, a room for the dramatics classes, and new curtains for the stage. As these dreams become realities, North Omahans can point to their fine school with a growing feeling of pride. North High has developed as the community has developed. lt has served North Omaha as North Omaha has served it. And whether the landscape is bright with lilacs and bridal wreath, or glistening under a blanket of snow, North High School always presents a pretty picture.
