J This is our school. It is here that we spend four years of our lives, and it is here that we complete the metamorphosis from an elementary school child to an adult citizen of tomorrow. We can be proud of our school, not only for its high scholastic record, but also for its outstanding location in Omaha. At its feet lies a growing city, in the distance can be seen the scenic bluffs of Iowa, and around it stand monuments dedicated to mankind ---- the Immanuel Hospital, the Masonic Home for Boys, and the Nebraska School for the Deaf. Yes, this is our school, and we are proud to claim were from North High . Our principal is a man of many roles. We've known him as confidante, sports enthusiast, and advocate of whatever is best for the kids . He acts as arbitrator and office manager, pinch-hits as mes- senger-boy and teacher. In whatever role he appears, though, we've known him to be a fine principal and a sincere friend. HENRY C. MEENTS
