Guy Oberg was the nearly unanimous choice of his fellow students for presi- dent. Sometimes known as Sonny , he won fame for his record in football, basketball, and golf. Second in command was dark, wavy- haired Hal Sinclair. Hal belonged to the strong, silent type, but his love of food, baseball, and football made him one of the busiest Vikes at North. Secretary of the senior class was red- haired Shirley Alberti, whose vivacious sparkle and winning personality made her a favorite among her fellow class- mates. Patricia Dishner and Patricia Berquist found a mutual interest in sports show business, music, and their post of Ser geants-at-Arms. Two other representatives of the foot ball squad were Kingsley Smith and Dick Brandt, who were popular choices for Sergeants-at-Arms.
