Gwen Anderson Wayne Goates Counselors Colleen Dallin Changing schedules, pleasing whimsical and irate students and unknotting baffled parents produced a new challenge for six persevering counselors. Each dedicated to helping undecided individuals, to under- standing and advising, to encouraging the discouraged, to guiding students to see themselves and others more objectively. Another of their infinite tasks was to help enforce the new dress code that was intro- duced to Olympus students this year. Yet another task was to orient new students, seniors and sophomores alike, to the changes in Oly’s counseling procedures. Their devoted time and influence has made them a vital part of high school experience. Rita Staley Richara narper

The introduction of se- mester classes gave the student a fresh ap- proach to English studies. At the same time, just down the stairs, in fact, another approach took place. This time with foreign languages. Spanish. French.
