Scott Ogden Vice President The morning announcer, the quiet unobtru- sive officer, who was innevitably there. He could be seen walking down an empty hall late after school, or driving around in a convert- ible blue V.W. Being a hater of spending money made him an apt budget watcher. A perceptive individual who could see both sides to a question. Dedicated, ingenuous personality, a thinker—a subtle dry wit that could ease tension in a word.ScottOgden - the adhesive force of the Student Officers. Karl Rove Senate President Munching Oreos or politicing, Mr. Karl Rove was a man of the people. He put the Olympian Senate into motion with his own characteris- tically well-versed arguments and witty com- ments. Talking, reading, talking, writing speeches, talking, talking, talking—sometimes brilliant, sometimes verbose. Coming or going, constantly on the move. A doer instead of a watcher; vitally concerned, ever-debating, a mighty funny, never-stopped-to-ponder kind of a guy. STUDENT BODY OFFICERS Mrs. Pat Farrell Advisor Dodging students to get into the student body room or energetically crusading for a new idea, Mrs. Farrell faced the problems of being Student Body Advisor with extraordinary empathy and open-minded pragmatism. A diplomat, a friend and companion; an easily excited, highly emotional person. She is successful because she remembers that she was a student once and she knows that students are complex individuals to teach; and to learn from.

Jan Mulvay Historian Known to be complicated because she was so human, Jan was a natural people lover. Al- though rarely unoccupied she found time to stop and talk. A giggler who could easily be- come hysterical; a historian who kept meetings on the subject. Very slightly rebell- ious, understanding, sensitive, persuasive; who although hounded about being on time, about procrastinating, clipped newspapers, raffled turkies, praised people and thoroughly enjoyed being Historian. Debbie Dowell Secretary Having sudden spurts of sporadic organization, Debbie was recognized among her cohorts as the organizer. Characteristically pinning up reminders and notices, she somehow kept the year in efficient running order. A girl who set out to accomplish all in her own whimsical way, wholesomely living in the simple world of fundamental thought. Whether singing slightly off key, eating anything at all, or giggling, she was a happy officer; almost in- conceivably the girl next door. Becky Wirick Historian Hauling an antique briefcase, with a sweater tied precariously around her waist, Becky added the unique touch to an already diverse group. A girl who likes a blanket and three T.V. shows all at once; who loves the solitude of her own room, and finds it difficult to stay in school when it's snowing. A natural at seeking creativeness, she caughtthe superficial moments on paper, evaluated actvities and mounted newspapers. Quiet and yet out- spoken. An individual.
