Historian 'Vlarilyn Stillman L Better assemblies make greater school spirit, agreed all the student body oflicersg so they worked as one to improve the quality of these presentations, endeavoring to emphasize the education as well as the entertainment angle, Also realizing that a new school must make traditions fast, the historians set about not only recording the school story in detail, but also publicizing it. The leaders Worked toward improved democratic procedure and representation in the Student Council by including an elected member from each club as well as from each home' room. They made the sophomores their Number 1 project by initiating an extended orientation program designed to integrate immediately the first year students into the life of the school.
