New blonde desks have been added in most of the classrooms, providing a pleasant atmosphere in which to study. Individual table and chair sets are now used throughout the first f our grades . 'gr 0lustee's lunchroom is equipped with modern appliances, and like the classrooms, 1 t 1 8 air conditioned. At the left, the sophomore class goes through the lunch line. Ellen Whitehead stands beside the new 20' deepfreeze addedto the lunch- room this year. In the fore- ground is the new electric kneader and llxer. 154 Students are enthusiastic in their praise of the lunchroom food. Some of their favor- ites includes 'those delicious hot rollsj' 'cherry cobbler, and 'barbecued beef on home-made buns. Students are given generous re-fills and can purchase extra milk f o r only 20 a half-pint. At the left, lunchroom cooks, Mrs. Henry Whitehead and Irs. J o h n Edgeworth fill plates. Mlmeographing is an easy job since a fully automatic Gestet- ner machine has been purchased for the commerce room. The mimeograph, used mainly for the publication of the school paper, is equipped with au to- matic inklng and counting. Adding to the appearance of the stage in Olustee's spacious audltoriun are the new velour curtains added last May. The front curtains are blue with a soft gray used in the back curtains.
