Opposite: Grade Chairmen: Olney is fortunate to have the many capable and dedicated teachers it does who also work as our Grade Chairmen. They have the lr-lerculean task of pre- paring rosters for all of Olney's students Since we now have computers to aid them in this job, they rnust play doctor to the computer casualties , and answer questions like, Why can't I have 9 lunches? The Grade Chairmen also help mis- placed students, who, through some error on the part of the computers, have found themselves in Latin lV, when they be- long-in Spanish ll. If you've never tried to find out why there are 397 students too many in 3rd lunch, you don't know what it is to suffer, Despite all of the aggravation, our Grade Chairmen holp up very well, and each year these dedi- cated people dive into their work. And would you believe . . . that not one of them has ever drowned? Counselors: If ever an Olney student has a problem, scholas- tic or otherwise, there are many understanding and helpful people to whom he can turn, The counselors can help us to decide whether we should major in Zoology, or History of America before i492 in college, Olney's counselors are al- ways ready, willing, and able to help us with just such problems, At the beginning of each school year, our two college counselors begin to realize how helpful tranquilizers can be. With half of the Senior Class charging into their offices with questions, college applications, and more questions, they dis- play amazing patience and strength, Without the help of the college counselors, we would have to choose our own majors without any guidance, and attempt those terrifying appli- cations alone. 15 ART
