They play at football games, commencements, pa- rades, concerts, and assembly programs. A CAPELLA CHOIR The A Capella Choir. directed by Mr. The- odore Nitsche. endeavors not only to teach its members to sing and appreciate music, but also to develop character. This group provides in- spirational music for the school and various or- ganizations of this and other comnnmities. TIIIC ORCHESTRA The activities of the Olney High School Or- chestra, led hy Hr. john Levengood, include playing in Olney and in other schools for as- semhly piograins and concerts. This group has produced many really talented musicians, some of whom have played in the All City Orchestra,

School Tublimtions THE PALLADIUM For those students interested in creative writing, Olney started this magazine, The Pal- ladium, in 1937. It has been awarded many prizes, and is one of the few of its kind in Philadelphia. THE TROIAN The Trojan , Olney's yearbook, has been published seini-annually since 1932. Through the years this publication, designed and exe- cuted by a group of 12A and 12B students. has won many awards. It is a publication of interest not only to the graduating class, but also to the entire student body. THE HIGHLIGHTS One of the busiest places in the school is the Highlights' office. Students ou the staff mav he found there at almost any time in the dav striving to prepare the paper for print. At pres- ent the Highlight which has also won mauv awards, is published six tilnes a tcrin. s
