ACTIVITIES Oh dear! oh dear! I shall be too lately The white rabbit with pink eyes who so startled Alice was not the last to make that exclamation. It has been uttered dozens of times by us Olney students at two thirty P.M. when classes end and clubs commence. Just as Mr. Rabbit pulled out a watch from his waistcoat pocket, so we have often glanced hurriedly at our wristwatches, not wanting to miss a single moment of our pleasant after-school activities. We may have been dashing to a service club such as the Trojanaires and Trojanettes. Or perhaps it was a language club. Many of us are particularly interested in current events, speaking, writ- ing, music, or social clubs. Thanks to the teachers who willingly give up much of their spare time, it has been possible to offer a wide variety of clubs to us students. Not only have we benefited from these extra cur- ricular activities, but we have also derived a great deal of enjoyment from them. 30
