COUNCIL Prmizlcnl ..... . . .Florence Green Viflf-PVf'.Y1'I1l'lIf . ..Alice Hamilton Sl'I'I'I'fIIl'3' .. . ...... june Scheidel Trcrzszzrcr . . . . ,Marquerite Pierson As the students approach their senior year, they develop a keener interest in social activities around the school. There seems to be a greater demand for dances and skates to which our budding Casanovas can escort their lovely ladies. There must be groups to plan all these ai'l'airs, however. Therefore, each of the upper books elects a member to serve on a council for its particular class. The council officers are nominated at a convention, and are voted in by the stu- dents. Each class has sponsors to guide its council. The various committees work in harmony to work out good ideas for every occasion and to insure social and financial success. The l2B class had a capable, eflicient Council, that planned our social doings well. Class Day was especially enjoyable, and the other events were run to every- one's satisfaction. The sponsors, Mr. Marhefka and Mrs. Scanlan, helped in every way. 24
