'QV Sl ATURALLY once I got started in stu dent gox ernment Work I wanted to keep going to the top. The S.A. seems to affect all its members in that way. One of the top positions as a student leader is that of a sena tor and it has been the aim of many fellows and girls to reach that goal. The Senate had a stiff pace to keep up too. They could haxe easily used more than the allotted time gixen them and often they did hold special sessions in an effort to serve effi ciently. Every term, it was the Senate who presented the various awards in the assembly. In the third year I noticed that my saddleshoes were just about ready to be donated to the Salvation Army. Harry Pursell and Evelyn Loeblc were our senate representatives in 11A, while in the term that followed jack Wezixier and Evelyn won the posts, Evelyn going ahead to become president of thc Senate. Ulneys first night dance was another highlight of that junior year. AS JU IUIIS, WI BHZAMI SIRIIIUS URING our junior year we began to settle down, and gradually we ac' quired that wise, old, allfknowing feeling. XVe were impressed at being upperfclassf men, and important assistants to the seniors in club, sport, and school govern' ment leadership. For some time I had been conscious of the fact that I had to choose a career. I must have changed my mind a dozen times, or maybe that pretty little blonde changed it for me once or twice. I never noticed girls that way before. However, I deiif nitely decided what I wanted to do for a living after graduation, and I started working toward that end. Work was be' coming more pleasure than pleasure itself.
