HEN I first came here I felt like hot stuff, but just the same, when l mixed in with the rest and got lost Ll few times, everything seemed giantfsize, and I felt pretty small 'way down inside. Some activities were open to us during the hrst year, but most of us were sort of awk' ward about most things, and we didn't take advantage of clubs and sports. I guess it was just as well, because our extra time was occupied in finding exits from the school, looking for lost books, and remembering lock combinations. And did we take it from the rest of the school! Oh, sure, they were friendly and helped us a lot, but they teased and dubbed us freshies, too. Yes, sir, that first semester was interesting, mostly because everything was new. l met a lot of swell fellows like Hunk Higgins and Iaspar lckabald. We shared our tough freshman year together cashing in on each other's fun as well as hardships. Unfortuf nately I was too short to bother much with girls.
