Class Prophecy On graduation night, the class of 1952 decided to have a class reunionfour years from that very evening. We three girls, Carol De Falco, Elouise Williams, and Moira lean Traver attended the reunion- together. We talked with our former class mates and found that Bonita Adkins was a designer of teen-agers' fads and fashions for Seventeen Magazine. Ioyce Allen was the owner of a large restaurant, which featured her world famous home-cooking and baking. Melvin Hall, of course, was her chief dishwasher. I, Elouise Williams, flew in from Washington where l was private secretary to the President of the United States. Ieannine Sutter had just won the title of Miss America. 'Ioan Stover, who owned a famous race track, was unable to attend as she was ready for the Kentucky Derby and was very busy. Ed Lusher was the greatest lover to hit Hollywood since Budy Valentinds time. Iim Brough, after four years of trying, had finally been appointed bat boy for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Marlene Simpson couldn't be there, as she was engaged, not to Lawrence G. Kelly, but in flag pole sitting. She had been at the top of a pole for two years, eight months, and ten days. Beverly Cramer had been a majorette for three years at Ohio State and was doing a good job of it. Bill Middaugh was very busy managing the Toledo Mud Hens, and had the honor of getting the hens out of the coop. Ioann Hatt had changed her name to Betty Newton and was employed by the Ohio Gas Company. Phyllis Keefer, a good skater, was the star performer in Skating Vanities. Bob Stotz had served his term in the Navy and had taken over Dr. Crane's column in the Toledo Blade. He read for us his latest advice to young married couples. Bill McMullen, home on furlough from the Navy, told of his exploits on the high seas. He was surely handsome in his officer's uniform. Tom Pachelieff ran for governor of Ohio. He told us girls that if he were elected, he would save the state from bankruptcy, and protect the girls in Ohio from the wolves. Moira lean Traver quickly gained popularity after graduation by writing a magazine article on How To Be Plump and Beautiful. Ernie Hirzel told us of his Dancing School and to our amazement, brought in Carol De Falco who was his assistant. Anna Lou Tiplady had made a thorough study of new types of homes, and gave us a talk on the one that can be easily converted into an old maid's or old bachelor's quarters. Dale Heter, Secretary of the Treasury, was still crazy about money. loanie Meyers, an outstanding cheerleader, had just returned from leading cheers at a Bose Bowl Game. Marvel Wood already held the World Title of fastest typist with a speed of 713 words per minute. Marie Fox, having completed her nurses training at Mercy Hospital, was Superintendent of Nurses. Ioyce Pringle really surprised us when she told us that she was a tight rope walker in Ringling Bros. Circus. Louise Busson had been working at the Toledo Edison Company since her graduation and visited schools, giving lectures on Electric Cooking. Oleh Cieply flew home from China, where he was teaching Forestry at a girls' school. Wanda Cunningham taught the first grade at Olney. Melvin Moulton flew jet planes in the Air Force, and still made speed records. Ferne Francis received a trophy for swimming the English Channel. Kay Stewart was a teacher in Stautzenbergers Business College. Don Simon was a linotype operator for the Gray Printing Company. Thus ended our Reunion of 1956.
