He served as Student Body President his senior year. He entered Interscholastic League in Declamation for two years. In 1956 he won District and 1957 he placed SECOND in Regional. He won the History Award his senior year. Bill plans to attend college. Jack Alan Bush became Valedictorian with a 92 O8 average for the four years Jack has been an active member of the Student Council for all four years of high school he went to Boys State in 1956 He participated in Interscholastic League three years as a contestant in Extemporaneous Speaking. In 1956 he went to regional and in 1957 he placed second in State. In leisure time Jack writes poetry and plays the organ. l-lis first published poem, INDIVlDUALIST appeared in the 1956 edition of ANTHOLOGY of Texas High School Poetry. Jack plans to attend North Texas State College and major in English.
