The sixty-piece organization thrilled the sports-minded specta- tors with a variety ofclever half-time entertainment during the year. The marching band made additional public appearances including those at the Fort Belknap Centennial and the Texas Oklahoma Fair there w1nn1ng the second place tro phy In the regional marching contest in W1ch1ta Falls the band recewed a second d1v1s1on rating missmg a first rating by only 3 of one po1nt After the marching season ended the band settled down to begin concert work At the present the concert band plans to exhibit its skill at Waurika Oklahoma and als o 1 1 the contest in Denton Not only did the band under the able leadership of Robert I..
