Follies Major in Frivolity Early in September, while it is still warm and the excitement of beginning a school year is yet present, students took a weekend off for the annual Ollies Follies. Faculty and students played baseball Friday evening, while flag football was the main event on Saturday morning. That afternoon students displayed their talents in contests such as seed-spitting, hula-hooping and water-balloon tossing. There was competition in building human pyramids and stuffing as many bodies as possible into a station wagon. Ollies Follies concluded Saturday evening with the annual Talent Show. Individuals from each class provided entertainment with songs and skits. Races to gobble cream pies and to slurp jello and root beer were also part of the fun. 22 I Ollies Follies
