Division of Nursing The nursing process is a series of actions assisting individuals, families, and communities in promoting, maintaining and restoring health. Application of the nursing process uses intellectual, interpersonal, and technical skills. The nursing student formulates a nursing theory from her understanding of God, man, environment and self. A new course, the R.N. Completion Program, will Pe offered during the 1980 school year. Community experiences are also offered in areas of pre-natal care, day care, and post-partum. Nursing is a dynamic interaction Petween the nurse and the individual throughout the life cycle. The Division of Nursing prepares nurses who will work to improve health care delivery, provides a basis for increasing responsibility and leadership, and provides a foundation for continuing personal and professional development. 28 NURSING
