:?? .y ,-...- N PLANNING TAKES THEIR TIME Every Tuesday the social committee, con- sisting of five elected members from each class, plans activities to keep Olivetians entertained. This year you could visit Hong Kong or the Grand Canyon by attending the travelogues, or study the philosophy of Peanuts when Robert Shore lectured in March. Music also played a large part in their programs. Each year the responsi- bilities of the social committee get greater. This year they met the chal- lenge of planning something to do for the 1,600 Olivet students. Linda Williams, Vice-President in Charge of Social Affairs, has a busy job as chairman of the committee.

DAILY DEVOTIONS The purpose of chapel is to provide a time of unity for students and faculty to praise God in different ways. Various programs include student participation, guest lecturers, and special speakers. Class Chapel has proven itself successful. The fresh style and easy-going manner of Kent, Cliff and Phil complimented their display of musical artistry. The original composition by Cliff was just one highlight of the evening. Comments such as great, best we ' ve heard for a long while, and fantastic seemed to indicate the favorable reaction of those attending. Next to our own Weather, Kent, Cliff, and Phil seemed to have gained the best support from an Olivet audience. So good, in fact, they were invited back in February for a repeat performance.
