m FALL REVIVAL REFRESHES a. Preaching to filled services, Dr. Stowe presented vital messages for today. b. Excellent cooperation between Pastor Don Irwin and Evangelist Stowe enhanced the week of revival. c. Inspiring music by Gene Braun captured the attention each meeting. The human spirit can never be satisfied by bread alone -by material things. We have been made for God and can never find rest until we rest in Him. He said, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger and he that believeth on me shall never thirst again. Fall Revival, September 21-27, brought a refreshing spirit to our campus. Dr. Eugene L. Stowe, General Superintendent, Kansas City, Missouri, presented the theme Open Mine Eyes. Many students received help from his inspiring messages. Gene Braun, a full-time song evangelist from Springfield, Ohio, ministered to us in music. 22

This year you could visit Hong Kong or the Grand Canyon by attending the travelogues, or study the philosophy of Peanuts when Robert Shore lectured in March. Music also played a large part in their programs. Each year the responsi- bilities of the social committee get greater. This year they met the chal- lenge of planning something to do for the 1,600 Olivet students. Linda Williams, Vice-President in Charge of Social Affairs, has a busy job as chairman of the committee.
