One of the original campus buildings, Chapman Hall houses about 200 fresh- man men. Included in its facilities are a prayer room, a television room, a game room, and a new lounge. Home for about 200 men, mainly soph- omores and juniors, is Hills Hall. Named after Olivet ' s first president, its facilities include a lounge with a fireplace, kitchen facilities, a recreation room, a prayer room, and a T.V. room. F i ' ermon Hall Flierman Hall, just south of the Administration Building, is one of Olivet ' s oldest structures. Housed within its walls are a few classrooms, practice rooms, and offices. During the day, many students journey across the street to Goodwin Hall. Here they practice or attend lessons in the studios of the music faculty. All home economics majors spend eight weeks in the Home Management House on North Main. Here theory becomes practice, and the students must utilize their knowledge in practical experi- ence. Williams Hall, named in honor of Dr. and Mrs. R. T. Williams, is the home of approximately 200 freshman girls. Its spacious parlor and friendly atmosphere make the adjustment to college life less difficult. Mrs. Slagg is the head residence counselor. Nesbitt Hall, named in honor of Miss Mary Nesbitt, was one of the first build- ings completed during the ten-year de- velopment program. Housing approxi- mately 150 co-eds and their head resi- dence counselor, Mrs. Olson, its modern conveniences give comfort and relaxa- tion after long hours of study.
