NIO12 SE 'Wi i-1-'-, Z- -it-'- fr, The year 1938 was an eventful one for the present class of 1950. Virginia Haganman Kerle Unkrich, Jack 39.1, Carl Reschly, Allan Kolander and six other little, but mighty, cherubs were plunging eagerly into twelve years of study and hard work. Lela Stephens joined our ranks just as the first year terminated. Others who joined our group during the grades were: Charles Kesser, lorma Eubank, Delores and Virginia Swanson and Keith Hultquist. Keith was our valedictorian in eighth grade, followed closely by Norma Eubank. Our grade teachers were Kiss Olson, Kiss Kitchell, Kiss Baughman, Kiss Cassidy, and Kiss Smith. Jack Derby was with our class from fifth grade until mid-semester of our Senior year when he transferred to Brighton. The year 1946 marked the second major step in our school career. Aft- er an initiation day filled with expected humiliation we were accepted as the green freshmen we were of dear old 0.H.S. Krs. fauer, Kiss Karsh, and Kr. Stribley helped pilot us through the hazardous year. Kr. Wagner, Krs. Vermazen, and Krs. lclasson assisted us in our Sopho- more year. UU! class by this time was participating wholeheartedly in all school extra-curricular activities. During our Junior year the class was completed by the addition of Karjorie Rich who came to us from Pleasant Lawn. Our able pilots were Kr. Brostrom, lr. Hannum, Kiss Hunter, Krs. lclasson and Krs Dewart. 'Lights 0ut', a mystery comedy, was presented as our class play after several weeks of fun and hard work under the direction of Krs. Dewart. nanchors Aweighn was the theme of our Junior-Senior Banquet, held in the Legion dining room. le all agreed that a banquet results from much planning and hard work--even for mothers.l The year 1950 has been our biggest and best year of all. Kr. Kgrshall and Kr. DePrenger were our only new pilots. The coach, superintendent, and Kiss Hunter liked us so well they couldn't leave us behind. The publication of our yearbook, THQ RAIDER was an outstanding accomplishment. le are proud of this book, and hope it will always help us recall. fond memories of our school days. How after receiving our diplomas as a reward of work accomplished, we are looking forward to even greater success in the days ahead. 8.a,.g,.5,,a1, WALL Ziff ,fre , -Slggkww QZZWZA-A 72,1 n
