CHEERLEADERS Gay Firth, Susan Perry, Steph Strubing, Phoebe Ann Lilley, Iac-kie Cumming, Ioan Kneedler, Margie Loblein. s WFP' Sanrio 155 - 556 The varsity hockey team under Gay Griscom lost only one game this fall. It was an exceptionally good season because of a team with a lot of spirit. The scores Were: Oldlields 2, St. Timothy's 25 Oldfields 3, Roland Park lg Oldfields 3, Friends 03 Oldfields 5, Park Og Oldfields 2, Hannah More O. In the last game we were de- feated by Garrison Forest 4-3. With the oncoming of winter the basketball season is started. We have great hopes for a good year under our Captain, Airey Dinkins. As Spring Term approaches we find the tennis courts oc- cupied with many people, and since we have held the Private School Tennis Cup for two years, we're looking forward to playing for it again. During the Fall and Winter Terms the riding group hunts with the Elkridge-Hartford Hunt, and although the weather was poor, it was a fair season. The Fall Horse Show was won by the Greens, and a Gymkanah, also during the Fall, provided good sport for the non-riders and the faculty after an amusing skit by the Riding Club. The Spring Horse Shows lie ahead, and there is hope that Oldfields will do as well this year as last. The Greens and Whites are collecting points and eagerly wait- ing for the announcements of the winning team on Banquet Night. . rf .H gfrf as A 1 ' , K, P- A K - ia.,-'f 5. , .
