A first for high school students will be a handbook being compiled by the Stu- dent Council as one of its major projects this year. In-coming freshmen and new students will profit greatly from infor- mation contained in this booklet, which will be available to all students. Hall traffic conditions have improved, and faster lunch service has been facil- itated through efforts of the Student Coun- cil. Beta Club For its major project, the Beta Club has decided to donate $50 to the Good Neighbor ' s Scholarship at Montreat -Ander- son College, Sponsored by local business- men, the full-tuition scholarship is award- ed to a local senior who meets the scholastic requirements set up by the scholarship board. The Christmas spirit, caroling, and good food helped to make the Beta party a memorable one.
