In its first year of organization, the school band has made giant strides toward becoming a first-class, perform- ing musical group. Mr. Joseph DeNardo, director, deserves commendation for the success of these young musicians. To the P.T.A. goes credit for the very necessary financial backing. . . . with APRIL showers . . . The beginning of the End MAY Junior-Senior Banquet, graduation practice, that strange feeling of joy and nostalgia, and the excitement of those last days brought the year to a close. Each event was greeted by Seniors ' cries that it is the last. Under- classmen realized that there would be other high school years, but each felt the senti- mental feeling that there would never be another year such as this. Looking back brought memories of work, pleasure, friend- ship, and the realization that the year has passed with the speed of wonderful times, leaving lasting memories. 16
